Drug Uses
Verapamil is used for curing of supraventricular tachycardia, a rhythm disturbance of the heart. It is also used for controlling heart rate response to other rhythm disturbances, specifically atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. It can also be used for other conditions as suggested by your doctor.

Use Verapamil as advised by your doctor.

Verapamil can cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Verapamil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Verapamil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this medicine. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, visit your doctor. Verapamil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been determined. Don't take less or more or take it more often than suggested by your physician.
