Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other conditions as directed by your doctor.
How Taken
Take Anafranil as directed by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take two - three weeks before you feel the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
More Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Take Anafranil with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been recommended. Do not take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
