Drug Uses
Bactrim is an antibiotic combination containing a sulfonamide antibiotic and is used for treatment of infections caused be certain bacteria.
How Taken
Take Bactrim with or without a meal. It is suggested to take it at the same time every day followed by a glass of clear water. Drink several extra glasses of clear water, unless otherwise prescribed by your [[doctor|physician]. Don't stop taking Bactrim without your doctor`s approval, even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Bactrim can cause you to become more sensitive to the sunlight. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to this medicine. Take a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time. Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not determined. Do not use this drug for other health conditions. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, ask your doctor.
