Drug Uses
Paracetamol is used for treatment of mild to medium pain due to headache, muscle aches, backache, joint pain, arthritis, the common cold, flu, toothache, teething pain and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol also decreases fever in adults and children. This drug is usually used in people who cannot take anti–inflammatory (e.g. due to stomach ulcer), as it is gentle on the stomach.
How Taken
Use Paracetamol exactly as ordered by your physician. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage as it can be very dangerous and life threatening.
Additional Information
Paracetamol may cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Paracetamol is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Paracetamol with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your physician. This product should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your physician.
